Description
Metal chelating peptide Pep-1L-NOTA targets tumor-restricted receptor, IL13RA2, found to be present in some aggressive malignancies, specifically gliomas and malignant melanoma. Recent work has demonstrated that the copper-bound peptide selectively binds hIL13RA2-expressing tumors and validates its use in peptide-based PET imaging for cancer diagnostics.
