Description

Inhibitor that penetrates cells and binds covalently to the active site of caspase-1 (ICE). At a concentration of 2.5 ?M, it blocks caspase-1-mediated processing of mature interleukin-1beta in a monocytic cell line by 85% without influencing tumor necrosis factor processing.
