Description

Gastrointestinal hormone and a member of the endothelin family that exerts a direct effect on the pituitary and increases pulmonary arterial pressure. This peptide also displays a higher contractor activity on mouse and guinea pig, whereas it is weaker in its vasoconstrictor activity.
