Description

Galanin antagonist that binds with high specificity and affinity to galanin binding sites and provides a new principle in the treatment of dementia and related disorders. At low concentrations, this chimeric peptide antagonizes the effect of galanin, whereas at concentrations above 10nM M35 it acts as a galanin receptor agonist.
