Description

Antagonist of galanin receptor that significantly antagonizes galanin-induced feeding behavior at doses approximately equimolar to the active doses of rat galanin. It inhibits the binding of (125I-Tyr26)-galanin (porcine) in rat hypothalamic membranes with IC50 value of 15nM.
