Description
The hexapeptide AVGIGA is identical in sequence to the first 6 N-terminal amino acids of the gp41 subunit of the HIV envelope glycoprotein. It was found to completely inhibit the HIV-induced syncytium formation (ID50 = 0.75 mM).
