Description

Selective fluorogenic matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) substrate with the following Kcat/Km value for MMP-3 (Stromelysiin-1) is 29.0 M^-1s^-1, for MMP-13 13.0 M^-1s^-1, and for MMP-9 7.5 M^-1s^-1 (at pH = 7.5, 25°C). The fluorescence increase is measured using an wavelength of 360 nm and an emission wavelength of 490 nm. No activity against this substrate could be measured with MMP-1, MMP-7, and MMP-8.
