Description

Chimera of atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) and C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP) that possesses the venodilating actions of CNP, the natriuretic actions of ANP, and unique arterial vasodilating actions associated with neither ANP nor CNP. Its sequence contains the 22 amino acids of CNP plus the 5 C-terminal amino acids of ANP.
