Description

Bovine myelin basic protein fragment 4-14 described as the most specific substrate for the selective assay of protein kinase C. Its Km value of 7 µM is comparable with the value for H1 histone and intact myelin basic protein, but its velocity of phosphorylation is twice as fast.
