Description

This peptide is a potent human renin inhibitor. It is an analog of amino acid sequence around the cleavage site of the human angiotensinogen. The renin-angiotensin system plays an important role in blood pressure regulation. The inhibition of renin by this peptide lowers the blood pressure and therefore renin inhibitor III can contribute to the hypertension research.
