Rhodamine 110, bis-(CBZ-L-arginine amide), dihydrochloride (BZAR)

Product Number: SUBS-003

Price range: $33.00 through $55.00

Sequence:

(Z-Arg)2-R110 (hydrochloride salt)

Description

This bisamide peptide rhodamine 110 (R110) derivative is a sensitive and selective substrate for assaying proteases in solution or inside live cells. This substrate contains an Z-protected arginine residue covalently linked to each of R110’s amino groups. Upon enzymatic cleavage, the nonfluorescent bisamide substrate is first converted to the fluorescent monoamide and then to R110, with a further increase in fluorescence.
